Ethan Graves is a non-Indigenous musician and educator from Edmonton, Alberta. Having acquired a Bachelor of Music Performance from MacEwan University in 2024. Ethan is a professional Trombone player with nearly a decade of performing and education experience. Since 2023, Ethan has had the privilege of immersing himself in Metis culture thanks to his wife and fiddler Brianna Lizotte. He currently engages in research and performance of the Spoons and spends much of his time creating and gathering educational resources on the instrument. In addition, he and Brianna perform all across Canada and cut records from their home studio.
